Man ejected from car then struck and killed by another vehicle


The York County coroner has released the name of the victim who was killed in a crash along Interstate 83 in Conewago Township on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old James Robert Clipp Miller, of Lewisberry.

Miller was ejected from his car after hitting the center median and was then run over by another vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the coroner’s office.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police are investigating.

    2013 and we have to go back to the basics of preaching seat belt usage because we keep getting news reports of people who die or get ejected when not wearing the belts.
