Police training is important. But it is more about what goes on inside than the building. For example, are officers treated with dignity and respect in an “adult learning” atmosphere? Remember, those who police our democracy must be carefully selected, well-trained and led, controlled in their use of force, honest, and courteous to every person. That’s the bottom line.
