A search underway in Red Lion Borough for the source of a natural gas leak.  A call to York County 911 just before 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon reported the strong odor of natural gas in the 600 block of West Broadway Street.  About a half-dozen homes along the street were ordered evacuated while Columbia Gas crews search for the source of the leak.

The Red Lion Fire Department is providing shelter for residents forced out of their homes.  The American Red Cross has also been contacted.
