Marchers attend New York City’s annual gay pride parade on Sunday, June 26, 2011. They celebrated New York becoming the sixth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the legislation the previous Friday. The parade meandered along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue and passed in front of the famous Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village.
