In the city of York, a neighborhood is coming together to turn a vacant lot into a place to learn.   The land, about three quarters of an acre, sits in the middle of West Hope Avenue.  Leaders from schools, churches and the city plan to create a garden and learning lab for all York students.  The food grown will help feed people living in the area.
The group says they plan to begin work on the hope street garden this spring.
