Police in Lancaster County identify the victim in a fatal head-on crash on Route 222 Thursday morning. 36-year-old Victor Stimmell, of Lititz, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Stimmell was the driver of a southbound Ford sedan that crossed over the median and slammed head-on into a northbound Ford Ranger pickup driven by 61-year-old Leverne Smith, of Reading.

Smith was taken to Lancaster General Hospital. There is no word on her condition. West Earl Township Police is asking anyone who witnessed the fatal crash to call them at 859-1411.
