If you couldn’t wait until Fat Tuesday for a fasnacht, one local church was already selling its treats on Monday.
St. Cecilia Church in Lebanon started selling the fried dough sweets on Sunday and the sale will continue until Tuesday.
It is expected that more than 100 thousand fasnachts will be sold over the three-day sale. Organizers say there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make it a success.
