An 11-year-old is robbed of his cash assistance card at gunpoint in Harrisburg. Police are searching for the suspect. It happened Friday night around 8 p.m. near South 17th and Berryhill Streets.
The boy, a resident of Allison Hill, was walking to a local store when a teenager came up from behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. When the victim turned around the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded his money. The boy didn’t have any cash so the brazen robber took his ACCESS card that belonged to a relative.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male in his teens, 5’5″, thin and was last seen wearing a white tank top and a do-rag.
