kissstatueA statue of one of the most famous kisses of all time gets a permanent home in San Diego, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The 25 foot statue replicates the iconic photograph of a sailor and a nurse sharing a kiss in Times Square at the end of World War II.

A formal dedication ceremony will be on Saturday, and couples who were married during the World War II era are expected to gather and renew their vows.
