Police charge a New Jersey man with an armed robbery last year at a Lancaster County motel.  Shortly after 8 pm on December 3, 2012, East Lampeter Township Police responded to a report of a man who had fallen out a third floor window at the Super 8 hotel along the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway East.  It turned out that the man had jumped out the window to escape an assault by a man armed with a gun. The victim was injured from the attack and the fall onto the parking lot asphalt.  The victim was treated and released at Lancaster General Hospital.

Investigators learned that the victim had been staying at the motel with a woman, who was missing.  The missing woman was later identified as 21-year-old Ashley Cenneno, of New Jersey.  She was eventually located in New Jersey.

After a month-long investigation, East Lampeter Township Detective Chris Jones, also identified the male attacker as 30-year-old Michael Falls, of Mays Landing, New Jersey.  Jones’ investigation also revealed that Falls and Cenneno allegedly conspired and attempted to rob the victim of a large amount of cash at the Super 8 hotel.

On February 6, 2013, Detective Jones charged Falls with Felony Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Felony Aggravated Assault. Ashley Cenneno was also charged with Felony Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Falls was taken into custody on February 11, 2013 by the Atlantic City, New Jersey Sheriff’s Department.  He is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.  Ashley Cenneno remains at large.
