Two people were injured in an early morning fire in York County. It happened just after 3 o’clock this morning on the 1100 block of Poplar street. One person was taken to the hospital with burns on their hands and another was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation. Fire crews say the fire started in a closet in the back of the house and spread. 9 people are now without a home, they are being helped this morning by the American Red Cross.
Crews were able to knock the flames down quickly.They say the fire was electrical and doesn’t seem to be suspicious.
