Arctic air is making a short comeback across the area, keeping conditions cold through the weekend. Tonight, clouds will stick around, and temperatures dip into the chilly 20s.
STILL COLD FOR SUNDAY
The sunshine will peek out a little more for Sunday, but it will still be quite cold across the area. Highs will reach the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. A few flurries are possible. Blustery winds will make wind chill values feel like the teens at times throughout the day. The overnight period Sunday will see clear skies and frigid temperatures in the teens.
EARLY NEXT WEEK
Temperatures will begin moderating Monday as the cold air slowly works out of the area. Highs rebound into the middle to upper 30s under plenty of sunshine. The sunshine is short-lived though, because by Tuesday, our next storm system approaches, bringing with it the chance for some rain showers. Highs will be in the 40s. Wednesday sunshine builds back into Central Pennsylvania with high pressure returning.
END OF THE WEEK
Lots of sunshine prevails into Thursday, with temperatures in the middle 30s. Friday, another system heads this way, and it will bring the potential for a wintry mix across the area, with highs reaching the middle 30s during the afternoon. By Saturday, we’re milder across Central Pennsylvania with sunshine once again.
Have a great weekend!
