At 8:50 PM an accident occurred on Interstate 81 North Bound at the 135.1 Mile Marker.  PA State Police are investigating and expect the highway to be closed for a number of hours.

Traffic should exit at the 131A (Hometown) or 134 Delano and follow the BLUE detour route markers to SR 309 and back to I-81 NB.  Fire Police are blocking access to I-81 North at the 131 and 134 exits.
