A police chase started Sunday after Pennsylvania State Police in Harrisburg responded to a domestic dispute call in South Hanover Township. Just after 2 p.m., Kellen Brown, 22, assaulted two people and fled the scene with his one-year old son in his car.

Troopers spotted Brown on Canal Street in South Hanover Township and attempted to pull him over. He refused to stop and took off, attempting to flee police. At one point, Brown used his car to strike the left front corner of the Trooper’s vehicle before traveling into Hummelstown Borough.

A second State Trooper plus officers from Derry Township and Hummelstown Borough Police joined in the chase. Brown was traveling at speeds up to 75 miles per hour during the chase. He was able to elude police but was found a short time later at his mother’s home in Highspire.

Brown has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and Criminal Mischief. He is currently awaiting a preliminary arraignment at Dauphin County Night Court.
