It is the largest student fundraiser in the world and this past weekend it broke another record. Penn State’s THON raised the most money in the history of the event with $$12,374,034.46.
The proceeds benefit The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Since the 46-hour dance marathon began in 1973, it has tallied more than 100 million dollars.
