An early morning fire is to blame for sending two people out of their Lancaster County home. The fire broke out around 12:30 Tuesday morning along Rawlinsville Road near Frogtown Road, Providence Township. Two people were home when the fire started and called for help when they smelled smoke. The fire was heavily involved as crews made it to the scene. The fire reached a second alarm and took about 6 companies around 30 minutes to get the blaze under control.

Crews believe the fire began in the front of the home near a chimney but are unsure what caused the home to go up in flames. The home is expected to be able to be repaired.

There were no injuries to either of the residents or any firefighters.
