A preliminary autopsy report reveals country music star Mindy McCready died of a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities say McCready killed herself on the porch of her Arkansas home Sunday. It’s the same porch where her boyfriend died in an apparent suicide just last month. McCready, who struggled with drugs and alcohol throughout her career entered rehab earlier this month. Those close to here say she was not coping well with her boyfriend’s death.

I hate to hear someone killed themselves but why did they do an autopsy did they think the hole in her head was an abnormality? Who pays for this if the family doesn't request it?
