A return to sunshine

Cloudy skies across Central Pennsylvania will gradually break apart during the overnight period, with partly to mainly clear skies by daybreak.  With the recent wet weather across the area, lows are expected to dip to near 30 degrees.

An hour-by-hour look at the Sunday forecast.

SUNSHINE IS BACK!

Some sunshine returns to the area on Sunday.  With an upper level area of low pressure just to our north inducing a northwesterly flow, there will be clouds to contend with as well.  A few flurries are possible to the northwest, but they will be limited.  More by way of sunshine moves in Monday as high pressure takes full control of the weather.  Highs reach the lower 40s Sunday and middle 40s Monday.

AN UNSETTLED TRANSITION

As February turns to March, the pattern turns unsettled, with limited sunshine.  Tuesday, yet another storm system heads this way, bringing the chance for rain showers.  Highs reach the lower 40s.  In the wake of this storm, an upper level area of low pressure settles over the area, gradually moving east Wednesday through Friday.  This keeps plenty of clouds over the area, with the chance for occasional rain (and even a few possible snow) showers.  Temperatures begin in the lower 40s Wednesday and fall into the upper 30s Thursday and Friday.  Clouds and cool air continue to hang across the area into Saturday.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
