The New York Times recently published an article that questions the worthiness of a college degree.  As the labor force becomes more saturated with college graduates more employers are requiring a Bachelor’s degree, regardless of whether the job requires post-high school skills.  According to the article, economists are calling the phenomenon “degree inflation.”
