An elderly woman was robbed in her home in Marietta Borough on Monday evening. The woman answered her door at around 9:50 p.m. and a man forced his way into her home, demanding money.
He took cash from the victim’s purse and fled the scene. The suspect was armed with a knife at the time but did not use it to threaten the woman. Police describe the suspect as a heavy set Hispanic male, around 5’10″, wearing all black with a hood and his face partially covered.

For God's sake, don't answer your door. Get a peep hole and don't answer to anyone you don't know.
If they are in trouble they have cell phones. All of them do. Don't do it!
