This Futurecast model shows clouds hanging across Central Pennsylvania Thursday, with the chance for isolated rain and snow showers.
MORE CLOUDS AND A FEW SHOWERS
An upper level area of low pressure slowly continues to meander east Thursday, keeping a blanket of clouds over Central Pennsylvania. Isolated rain and snow showers pop up from time to time, keeping the umbrella necessary throughout the day. Highs reach the lower to middle 40s due to limited sunshine.
CLOUDS HANG TOUGH INTO THE WEEKEND
The upper level area of low pressure lifts out into the weekend, but lingering effects are felt in the form of continued cloud cover. As we begin March on Friday, conditions are dry, with a bit more sun. Highs are slightly cooler, near 40 degrees. Saturday and Sunday bring a little more by way of sunshine, with our fair share of clouds still hanging around. Highs will be in the middle to upper 30s.
SUNNY INTO NEXT WEEK
Sunshine starts the new workweek Monday, with highs still in the 30s. Tuesday and Wednesday we’re watching a disturbance that dives just to our south. For now, Tuesday looks mainly dry with a mixture of sunshine and clouds, but overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, there is the potential for some snow showers. Highs remain in the upper 30s.
Have a great Thursday!
