Clouds dominate Friday afternoon

WebPHOTO

This Futurecast model shows plenty of clouds Friday afternoon, with the chance for spotty sprinkles or flurries across portions of Central PA.

A massive upper level area of low pressure moving to the northeast continues to rotate clouds across Central Pennsylvania, and the clouds are here to stay through the rest of the day.  A few spotty sprinkles are expected during the afternoon, but it’s a mainly dry period.  Even a few flurries are possible where temperatures are cool enough, but nothing of consequence is anticipated.  Highs will reach the lower to middle 40s across the region, with winds out of the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.  Peak wind gusts occasionally reach 20 miles per hour.
