A man is facing additional charges after cops trace a stolen class ring to other burglaries in Lancaster County. Junior Omar Tirado-Torres, 27,  of Lancaster, was caught stealing copper pipes out of a home along the 200 block of Springs Hill Lane in Cornwall Borough, Lebanon County back on Feb. 10

As Tirado-Torres was being processed at central booking–officers found several items in his possession, including a High School class ring with someone elses  name inscribed on it. Subsequently, Cornwall Borough police contacted Lancaster City police to inquire about the stolen ring after learning Tirado-Torres was living in Lancaster.

Police determined the person whose name was on the ring matched a burglary victim in the 100 block of Nevin Street in Lancaster City.  Tirado-Torres was questioned further and confessed to burglarizing the home on Nevin Street twice, in addition to a home along the 300 block of New Holland Avenue and another residence in the 800 block of First Street.

He is accused of stealing copper piping, electronic equipment, jewelry and outdoor equipment.

Tirado-Torres is facing numerous charges including burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

Tirado-Torres remains in Lebanon County Prison.
