The search continues for a person who may have jumped off the Normanwood Bridge along Route 372 in Martic Township. Motorists called 911 around 5:15 a.m. on Saturday morning after spotting a vehicle parked in the middle of the bridge with its four-way hazard lights on. The driver of the 1996 silver Honda Accord was nowhere to be found when state police responded to the scene.
Troopers believe the person may have jumped off the bridge and into the Susquehanna River. Rescue crews and dive teams are actively assisting in the investigation. A Maryland State Police helicopter was also called in on the search.
No word on the identity of the missing person.
Anyone who may have witnessed a person on the bridge is asked to contact State Police at 717-299-7650.

Awfully considerate of the person to leave their 4-ways on.
