Thousands of faculty members at Pennsylvania’s 14 state owned universities will vote next week on the ratification of their contract. The 5500 faculty members have been working without a contract since June 2011. Voting will take place Monday through Thursday and ballots will be counted Friday. The new four year contract includes concessions on healthcare but pay raises of one or two percent in each of the last three years.
