Former Burger King employee sought after stealing over $2,000

Police are searching for a former Burger King employee accused of stealing over $2,000 from the fast-food restaurant in Carlisle. It happened early Sunday morning along the 900 block of East High Street. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Devon Ruoss, 35, of Carlisle. Authorities say Ruoss entered the restaurant around 1:52 a.m. and broke into the safe. He shoved approximately $2,540 in cash into a duffel bag and then fled the scene, police said.

Ruoss is facing numerous charges including Burglary, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property.
