Put them in the shredder. That’s what the West York Borough council did Monday after receiving several proposals from neighboring municipalities on what it would cost to provide police protection to the borough. West York’s contract with the West York police department is up at the end of the year so council asked other municipalities what it would cost to use their police officers. However the possibility of losing their department did not sit right with borough residents and they showed up at the council meeting hoping to get council to change their minds, which they did.

They were never serious in the first place. It's a dance that happens every so many years.

its very funny how some of our so called borough council people own their own business which our police department has been protecting for years now wants to get rid of them, I personally think its time to remove those council personnel instead! Or maybe they should move their business else where, I think all of WESTYORK RESIDENTS should BOYCOTT their business's.
