spent time in there over my reckless years, staff beating inmates outta camera shot is common. i was beat, pushed by correctional staff as well. and as all other deaths or beatings or abuse at this mad house it will come out that county wasnt at fault, what else is new?

You're breaking my heart but, there is no mention of beating. She was a drug addict and an autopsy will probably reveal an internal mess.

You're correct because this story did not say what the drug charge was. It's a fair assumption that if you play with drugs then you probably do some yourself. Drugs screw you up. Period. It's your choice and people who make the opposite choice don't have bleeding hearts for those that do. But you're right that we should not judge this woman in particular based on a small news snippet and from a comment above, we can't assume she was beaten by guards, too.

none of us are Perfect, and we have all sinned and fall short… to live we may, to die we must, this is a good time to focus of Jesus Christ, in which HE shared all that we could ever know about this life, and the life to come. We have nothing to lose my accepting Jesus, and getting into a good church, and living a life that is pleasing to God so he could deliver us from the destruction of this world, that weighs so heavy upon all of us, as you can see, times are getting worse.

Well, I have a letter laying in front of me from an Inmate that told me she was BEATEN & KILLED- he is there! He was threatened also, on Feb 14, in the kitchen because he didn't wish the cook a Happy Valentines day – Rik says: Ms Kym, a kitchen stewart used her key to unlock a leashe that secures a butcher knife to a prep table, removed the leash from the handle of the knife, and with the knife pointed at Richard Paul Shover II – and left hand on his throat said "I'm not f***king with you, I will kill you and then kill myself". This was ALL caught on camera and we are told ' they are investigating the incident" but they are taking measures to keep it quiet, as everything else. People don't ask for the abuse, threats, beatings — they just know anything can happen & they can't do anything back. Just because they got caught up in something (How many innocent people are in prison…..LOTS) -they don't deserve to be bested by their 'superiors' in jail.
