The man police say hit and killed a family in New York City has turned himself in. Julio Acevedo turned himself in to Pennsylvania State Police in Northampton County Wednesday. New York Police say Acevedo sped through Brooklyn and hit a car with a husband and his pregnant wife inside Sunday. The couple died. Their premature baby was delivered but died Monday. Acevedo told the New York Daily News that he was speeding down the Brooklyn street because he was trying to get away from a gunman who was trying to shoot him.
