NOT A BAD FRIDAY!

A couple of light snow showers are possible Friday morning, mainly along the eastern parts of the area. Some sunshine is expected to blend in too.
A weak upper level disturbance is interacting with Wednesday’s storm, currently located just off the northeast coast. This is bringing snow to those areas, and as it slowly moves out, a couple light snow showers could clip parts of Central PA. Any snow showers are mainly east, and it stays mainly dry through the morning. In fact, plenty of us wake up to some sunshine! Some clouds build in during the afternoon hours, but the system finally exits late in the day, allowing skies to quickly clear into the overnight. It’s a breezy day, with highs Friday reaching the middle 40s.
WEEKEND WARM UP
The warm up begins over the weekend, with high pressure building into central Pennsylvania. This means plenty of sunshine! Temperatures begin in the lower 50s Saturday and rise into the middle to upper 50s Sunday. It’s going to be a great weekend, so be sure to get outside and enjoy it!
NEXT SHOT FOR SHOWERS
Though the weekend stays dry and pleasant, high pressure begins to yield to an approaching front come Monday afternoon. Clouds increase, and there is the chance for a late day shower, but the brunt of the wet weather holds off until the overnight period. Tuesday, some morning showers could linger depending on the timing of the front, but the area ends the day with some sunshine. The pattern remains a bit unsettled at times through the end of the week, with partly sunny skies and the chance for some showers at times. Highs on Monday reach the middle to upper 50s once more, but after the passage of the front, a gradual return to more seasonable temperatures in the 40s makes it’s mark by week’s end.
Have a great Friday!
