Authorities have reason to believe that a suspect wanted for robbing a CVS in Swatara Township on Friday is the same man who held up a convenience store in Lower Paxton Township that same night.
The first robbery happened at the Sunoco gas station along the 4200 block of Union Deposit Road in Lower Paxton Township. A short time later that same suspect is believed to have walked into the CVS along the 3800 block of Derry Street.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and a pack of cigarettes.
No injuries were reported and no weapon was displayed in either robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 40′s. He has acne scars on his face and is approx. 6’1″ in height. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, an olive colored winter coat with a fur-trimmed hood, bright blue gloves and gray baggy cargo pants.
The suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a white SUV, possibly a late-90′s to early 2000′s Ford Explorer.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Swatara Township Police at 717-564-2550 or Lower Paxton Township Police at 717-657-5656.
