A York county woman was out Wednesday trying to save a historic barn from being torn down.  Christina Clark was protesting the demolition of the former Avalong barn in Springettsbury Township.  The building has been vacant for several years but was last used as a Pfaltzgraff retail outlet.  Wednesday morning crews began ripping apart the barn.  Clark doesn’t want to see the building go because she says it is a piece of history.  The barn, which is not in its original state, is being torn down to make way for a Susquehanna Bank branch.
