Homicide charges were filed today against 35-year old Kevin Souffrant, of Lancaster, for the shooting death of 21-year old Shadae Taylor-Brooks. Souffrant was injured during the shooting that claimed Taylor-Brooks’ life on March 9th.

He had been in the hospital but was released on March 16th and taken to Lancaster County Prison. The homicide charges are added to the additional charges he faces of aggravated assault, simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and terroristic threats, all stemming from that shooting.
