This Futurecast model shows clouds and some light snow showers across Central PA around 1 P.M. Thursday.
The coldest of the next seven days is upon us. An upper level area of low pressure continues to have a hold over the area, keeping chilly, northwest winds in place. Those winds keep the cold air flowing, containing temperatures into the middle 30s today, with several locations to the northwest struggling to even hit the freezing mark. The northwest winds are also brushing over lake moisture, meaning clouds bubble up as it moves over the ridges. A few snow showers or flurries are likely, but bring nothing by way of accumulations. Winds are sustained at 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph at times. Bundle up this afternoon!
