ANOTHER COLD, BREEZY NIGHT

It will be chilly under mostly cloudy skies. The persistent northwest flow continues making temperatures feel even colder. Lows expected to dip into the mid and upper 20s but it will feel more like the teens outside.

A BIT MORE SUN

Clouds will break up and allow for more sunshine by the afternoon Friday.  Winds will still be breezy and temperatures will remain well below average in the low 40s.

GETTING BETTER FOR THE WEEKEND

Calmer with more sunshine, courtesy of high pressure, will allow folks to enjoy the start of the weekend a little more.  Highs should respond nicely and warm into the mid and upper 40s after starting off quite cold in the 20s.

CALENDAR SAYS SPRING BUT OLD MAN WINTER ISN’T QUITE DONE

A storm will develop in the Mid-Mississippi Valley and may bring a wintry mix as early as Sunday evening. Timing is still up in the air and of course temperatures and precipitation type also remain in question.  We’ll certainly keep you posted in the next few days but it looks as if we could be dealing with a “little” snow once again.

MARCH ENDS BELOW AVERAGE

Another trough will dig in for next week.  This means temperatures will remain well below average to end the month of March.  We should be in the 50s but will not even get out of the 40s for much of next week.  April is looking more promising for warmer weather!
