GOOD START: We’re not enjoying the mild spring weather like we did this time last year, but altogether we’re starting the weekend off on a pretty good note. Today will be unseasonably cool again with temps only getting into the low to middle 40s. We’ll see intervals of clouds and sunshine through the day, but we look to stay dry. There will be a breeze again keeping a cold feel to the morning and a chill feel to the afternoon. Tonight, we’re cold and clear with temps back into the middle 20s.
Saturday will be the sunniest day of the next seven. Expect a good amount of sunshine and only a bit of a breeze. We warm to the middle and upper 40s. Sunday starts cold and ends in the low to mid 40s as clouds arrive ahead of our next system pegged for Monday.
ANOTHER BATCH: We’re closely monitoring the development of our next storm system which will arrive into Monday. Most of the models have the precip beginning overnight Sunday toward daybreak Monday. Temps will be cold enough o support snow. The snow will pick up through morning before tapering in the afternoon and early evening. Some rain may mix in, but as for now it looks like it will be mainly snow. Highs Monday only top out in the upper 30s. We’ll likely see some accumulation but it’s too early for numbers. Just be prepared for a sloppy Monday commute at this time. This all tapers Monday night into Tuesday.
CONTINUED COOL: There’s not much sign of above average temps in the near future. The cool pattern will stay in place for most of next week as the jet stream stays positioned farther south than normal. Expect clouds to mix with sun and temps in the middle 40s to finish out most of next week.
Have a fantastic Friday and a superb weekend!
