Police in Arkansas say a man on a date staged an attack.
The couple was walking in a park Saturday, when a man with a large knife jumped out of the bushes.
The girl ran away and the man stayed to fight off the attacker.
He got cut several times, but police later learned the attacker was a friend of the man and the whole thing was a hoax.
