DODGING SOME SHOWERS THIS EVENING
You may run into a brief light shower if you head out but they will die down and move out once the sun sets this evening. After highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, temperatures are averaging the mid to upper 40s and will fall back into the upper 30s tonight. Clouds will break up some and overnight lows will dip to around 30 degrees.
Upper level low will hang around through Thursday. This means cooler than average temperatures. Wednesday we’ll see a mix of clouds and sunshine, highs in the mid 40s and winds even gustier up to 25mph. Thursday a morning disturbance may squeeze out a brief rain or snow shower but by the afternoon, we should tap into more sunshine than clouds, temperatures respond by getting into the upper 40s.
GREAT WEEKEND FOR EASTER SERVICE AND EGG HUNTS
Friday the pattern flattens allowing for milder air and more sunshine. Highs should flirt with 50 degrees. High pressure builds in for Saturday bringing a calm, sunny nice start to the weekend. Weather will cooperate for outdoor plans with highs reaching the low 50s. Clouds will increase into Sunday as the next system approaches. Easter service in the morning will be dry but cool with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Despite clouds moving back in, temperatures should be mild in the mid 50s. Showers will arrive towards evening so if you are headed out for dinner, be sure to keep the umbrella handy.
SHOWERS FOR THE START OF APRIL
Showers will linger through the start of April until a cold front crosses the area late in the day. Highs Monday will be in the low 50s, so the pattern of below normal temperatures remain for the first week of April before they start to rebound.
