The owner of a Lancaster barber shop was shot inside his business Monday night. It happened around 9pm at Karved Creations Barber Shop, located at 401 East King Street. The 29 year-old owner of the shop suffered gunshot wounds to both legs and was taken to a local hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.

Police think a lone suspect entered the shop, fired multiple shots, two of which struck the victim in the legs. The suspect was last seen fleeing south on Plum Street from the barber shop.

Police say there are no indications at this point to indicate that any robbery nor robbery attempt took place and there are no indications that this was random in any way.  Detectives are following up on leads as of this morning.
