Illinois Senator Mark Kirk backs gay marriage

More support for same sex marriage.   Illinois Senator Mark Kirk announcing his support of it.  He’s the second republican to endorse same-sex marriage, joining Senator Rob Portman of Ohio.  Kirk made the announcement on his blog saying quote, “What matters in life is who you love and government has no place in the middle.”  Kirk previously voted to end “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”.   He also co-sponsored a bill to ban employment discrimination based on sexual orientation.

    Dear Senator Portman,,,,, Do not destroy the Sancity or religious marrages with those that want to be a same-sex union or partner……We have already partnerships in Business, private groups or people…..Use that avenue to join same-sex marrages….

    Partnerships have deductions and it would be no problem to modify the above……

    See that it is called a union or partnership,,,protect the true time honored Religious marrage…..Call it something else instead of MARRAGE…Use City Hall to perform these same-sex unions or partnership[s. Thank you Ben DiFatta
