Adams County gets some help with a much needed 9-1-1 radio system upgrade. Commissioners announcing a $3.25 million grant that will go towards the cost of a new digital radio system for emergency responders. The current analog system was last up graded in 1979. Commissioners say the grant will be a big help. The new communication system should be fully operational by the summer of 2014.
