World War II Veterans honored in Dauphin County

17 World War II veterans were honored tonight in Dauphin County.  The Penbrook American Legion in Harrisburg hosting the recognition  dinner.  State Representative Sue Helm presented the honorees with a House Resolution and the Post Commander awarded them with a certificate of honor and a pin.  Those who served say they were proud to be a part of this event, especially the oldest person at the event, Caesar Paternoster. He says because he’s the oldest guy, he has the best stories to tell.  Caesar celebrated his 96th birthday today.
