Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane as well as several lawmakers on both sides of the aisle pushing to pass House Bill 1010. The bill requires background checks for all gun purchases made in Pennsylvania. The bill was introduced by Democrat Steven Santarsiero from Bucks County. And would require background checks to be done for all gun purchases. No time table has been set for when the house will vote on this bill.
