WIDE RANGE OF TEMPS TODAY

Depending on where you were today you either enjoyed temperatures in the 60s or the 80s.  A frontal boundary set up shop right across the area. Folks north of the turnpike had a wind shift to the east-northeast so temperatures were much cooler.  But south of the front, from Harrisburg on towards the MD line, winds were more southeast and once again temperatures reached the 80s.

Tonight, with the front nearby, we could see a few isolated showers, maybe a thunderstorm in the evening, but the best chance for rain will hold off until the overnight into the morning commute.  Lows will be cooler in the low to mid 50s.

MUCH NEEDED RAIN HEADS OUR WAY!

A pretty powerful cold front arrives tomorrow. It will bring some much needed rainfall to the area.  We are below average for the month and the year.  It looks as if we could pick up an inch in some areas before the storm exits the area in the afternoon.

DMA Rain Potential

Tomorrow, rain in the morning but we should start the drying process in the afternoon.  Clouds will decrease towards the evening.  Highs will be noticeably cooler but still running a bit above average in the mid to upper 60s.

MORE SEASONAL AND COOLER BY THE WEEKEND

Temperatures return to more seasonal averages around 60 degrees as we head into next weekend. Plenty of sunshine and dry hours to get out and catch up on spring planting or outdoor fun.
