Police in Ephrata are investigating a horse and buggy involved crash that happened around 8 a.m. this morning on the 3000 block of Rothsville Road. A vehicle struck the rear of the buggy that was traveling on the shoulder of the roadway.

The buggy occupants, Christian Glick and his 15-year old son, sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Lancaster General Hospital. The driver of the car, 28-year old Kevin Benito of Manheim, was not injured in the crash.
