Harrisburg man, 22, shot and killed in Scranton

Police are investigating a shooting that left a Lackawanna College student from Harrisburg dead. Rahsan Crowder, 22, died early Sunday morning after he was shot at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Vine Street in Scranton.

Crowder was taken to Geisinger-Community Medical Center where he later died.

Grief counselors are available for students and staff at the college.

Scranton Police and the Lackawanna District Attorney’s office are investigating.

An autopsy will be scheduled, according to the Lackawanna County coroner’s office.
