Negotiations continue with a man who police say barricaded himself inside a Lancaster City home early Saturday morning.  Authorities were called to the 600 block of South Queen Street around 3:30 a.m. for a report of a man who barricaded himself inside a home after several shots were fired on the street.

Law enforcement officers and the Lancaster County SERT team are on-site working to communicate with the suspect. Police believe the man may have access to guns. It is unclear if there are any hostages inside the home.

Authorities have closed several roads as a result of the incident. South Queen Street is closed at Seymour Street and Chesapeake Street.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
