Tina and Matt Wallace set up a treasure hunt as a neat way to surprise their daughters, Elizabeth and Anna, with a trip to Disney. They posted the video to YouTube so their family back in York County, Pennsylvania could see the girls and their reaction.

The whole way through the hunt the girls are excited for all of their treasures they find, including Disney autograph books, Mikey Mouse ears, and even a cake.

In the video Elizabeth, 6 at the time, reads the cake at the end of the treasure hunt, “In seven days we’re going to Disney.” As her younger sister Anna quickly asks, “can we eat some!”

Not quite the reaction their parents were expecting. Also unexpected, the national attention the video is getting. The video was featured within Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue Thursday night.

“We actually were trying to get the girls to dance. My husband wasn’t sure it was real! He checked his [Jimmy Kimmel’s] page out to make sure the person who called was real,” said Tina Wallace.

“We’re famous, we’re famous!” exclaimed Anna Wallace as she watched herself on television.

“It was really fun, we were really surprised! We debated the ways it would be on, we though maybe it would be in a montage of clips with other kids. We were elated it was on right away, and that they were featured. We were happy they were both featured,” said Tina Wallace.

And as for their new-found fame, “We think it’s adorable their kids were on national television and we this forever memory from our trip to Disney world,” said Tina Wallace.

The Wallaces are saving to take the girls to Disney again next year.
