New Holland Police say the operator of a horse and carriage failed to signal he was turning, just as a motorcycle was attempting to pass him, causing an accident. It happened just before 7:30pm at the intersection of Peters Road and Yost Road. Ralph Trego, 31, of New Holland was on the motorcycle. The horse and carriage operator, Amos Fisher, of Narvon, did not properly signal he was turning left at the intersection.
Trego was transported to Lancaster General.
