U.S. Marshals arrest two men in York County who failed to update their current address as required under Megan’s Law.  27 year old David Grant Myers was convicted of a sexual offense and sent to prison in Connecticut in June 2005.  After serving his sentence, Myers was placed on parole and moved to York County . and registered as a sex offender.  Pennsylvania parole officers discovered that Myers had moved last month without notifying them of his new address.

Thursday morning members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Myers in the 5200 block of North Susquehanna Trail.  He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Central Booking Unit to await extradition to Connecticut.

The second suspect, 58 year old Stephen Raymond Abel, was convicted of Indecent Assault involving a juvenile less than 13 years old in Tioga Copunty in February of 2002.  In March of 2012, Abel registered his address in the 3000 block of East Market Street in Springettsbury Township.  A warrant was issued for his arrest on May 20 after he moved without updating his address.  U.S. Marshals located Abel Thursday morning in the 500 block of West Market Street.  He was turned to the county sheriff’s office for arraignment.
